Every hair is different
Straight, curly, thin or thick hair - in addition to these natural structural features of your hair, previous care is also decisive for the color result. Chemically treated and bleached hair in particular is usually very stressed, dry and brittle. If you are unsure about the structure and the possible color absorption, you should start with a test coloring and a greatly reduced exposure time of 30 minutes in order to be able to assess the reaction of your hair to herbal hair colors.
Recommended water temperature: 75°C
Recommended water: For example, 25g of Vanilla Biscuit Blonde requires 50ml of water (the consistency should be creamy)
Special additives: If you want a more intense color result, we recommend a combination of water, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar for blondes and reds.
Example: Instead of just 50ml water - 20ml water, 15ml lemon juice and 15ml apple cider vinegar
Recommended exposure time: Depending on the desired color between 10min. up to 30 min. (IMPORTANT: The color result becomes more intense and golden, the longer the color takes effect!) Allow the color to take effect for the entire exposure time using a coloring hood.
1. STEP | Optimal preparation for a beautiful color result
Before the coloring process, wash your hair with a certified organic shampoo. We recommend our Scalp Stimulating & Purifying Shampoo. Do not use conditioner or treatment after washing your hair, this reduces the absorption capacity of your hair.
2. STEP | Mix hair color
Gather a bowl, whisk (non-metallic), gloves, and warm water. Shake your color pot vigorously before use so that the color pigments can mix optimally. Mix the shade Vanilla Biscuit Blonde with the addition of 75°C warm water in the bowl until you get a smooth, creamy texture. The Healing Herbs are now ready to be applied.
3. STEP | Apply hair color
Put a towel on your shoulders. Using a brush, apply the color evenly and quickly to towel-dried hair from root to tip, part by part. Leave the shade Vanilla Biscuit Blonde for 10 minutes depending on the desired color intensity. up to 30 min. act. Please cover the hair with a dye cap for the entire exposure time. For optimal gray hair coverage at the roots, color the roots first and apply the remaining color to lengths and ends 15 minutes before washing out. For a complete coloring of gray hair, apply the color evenly from root to tip in one step.
4. STEP | Wash out color
After the exposure time, rinse the color well with lukewarm water until it runs clear. Then use a certified organic conditioner or a certified organic hair mask. We recommend our Volume & Shine Hydrating Conditioner or our Smooth & Repair Hair Mask. Please do not use shampoo, so that the color pigments can develop optimally in the hair. Recommend for the perfect finish
